Laurence Noble

Laurence Noble's first design inspiration came from his grandma's Art Deco style house. This, in time, led to a design degree at High Wycombe. His first commissions as a 14 year old were for skateboard decks eventually moving on to more refined commissions on leaving college, such as a dining table for Saatchi and Saatchi. Following a few final formative years at Oakley Young, Laurence and good college friend Jerry Russell set up Noble Russell in 1992. While not actually making the furniture these days and mainly dealing with the design and sales aspect of the business today, Laurence still enjoys getting great commissions and is always learning more about furniture.
