Our three directors, Jerry Russell, Jonathan Fort and Laurence Noble, are all experienced furniture designers.
After graduating from Bournemouth & Poole College, Jerry Russell's first design job was creating elements of a Peterborough night club for Nick Spencer Design. Contracts at Seeton Shinkewski Design Group, Oakley Young Associates and Cutts & Co, prepared him for establishing Noble Russell with Laurence in 1992. Early design inspiration came from the Bauhaus and furniture by Marcel Bruer. Jerry also cites Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright and Charles Renee Macintosh as influential on his work.
